Scrap It With A Song - Last Reveal

I am so sad to say that this is my last reveal for Scrap It With A Song.  After much thought it was decided to shut it down.  Thank you for following along with me for the last couple of years.  I have enjoyed being on their team so much.  Music is a great inspiration.  The song this month is "Somebody to Love" by Queen.  I chose to scrap my son and his lovely friend that I claim for a daughter.  They are such a joy to be around, always laughing and having a good time.  I love them both soooo.... much.  I used a sketch by Laura Whitaker for this one from 2015.

Scrap It With A Song DT Layout for March

Hi today and sharing my layout for Scrap It With A Song.  The song this month for the pop team is by Mariah Carey called Emotions.   My beautiful granddaughter is the most beautiful and animated young lady around.  She makes me see how beautiful the world is.  She makes me see every kind of emotion and I love her to the moon and back.

Just for fun.

I made this layout just for fun from a sketch I got off of pinterest.  It is by Amaryilys Doria .  I thought it was the perfect sketch for this two pic layout of my granddaughter and me.

Sketches In Thyme Layout

I am working with the Hello Lovely paper pack from Close To My Heart and I have to say it is my favorite paper pack so far.  It has such pretty colors and flowers.  I also used the Flower Market Cricut cartridge that is exclusive to Close To My Heart.  It is one of my favorite cartridges of all time. It has many different cuts besides flowers.
I made my grandson's wedding album for them last year but had not made my own pages for my album so this paper is perfect for that.  So if you recognize these pictures that is why.  There is still time to play along with Sketches In Thyme so check them out and play along with us.  Here is my page and also the sketch.

Scrap It With A Song Layout for February 15th Reveal

I used this oh so cute picture of our dear Sara for this layout.  The song is by  Justin Timberlake - Can't Stop The Feeling.   She is so happy and upbeat I thought this picture is perfect for the song.  Our son and Sara brought a load of stuff back for us and they had to haul my exercise bike on the back.  So she was having a good time pedaling.
I used all Close To My Heart products on this page.  The paper is Hello Lovely and I used the sticker set along with the Flower Market Cartridge for the flowers.  Inks and stamp (This & That) are also CTMH.  I absolutely love this paper set.  If you would like to check out the products you can do so here CTMH .  Scrap It With A Song has really great songs to use to help inspire you so go over and check them out too.

Special Post For Scrap It With A Song

Several years ago we went camping and took our grand daughter with us.  We were camping up close to Ruidoso, NM and the scenery was absolutely gorgeous just as our grand daughter was.  We had a wonderful time.  The mountains are so beautiful and you just have a wonderful sense of how Good
Our God is.  The pop song this month at Scrap It With A Song is Good Good Father by Chris Tomlin and was inspiration for this layout.  I used a Cricut Cartridge by Ana Griffin to make the flowers and the leaf border.  It is Garden Cards.  I also used Heidi Swap acrylic butterflies.  Some CTMH paper and ink and also some paper from the Glitz Birthday Wishes paper pack and also some paper flowers from Prima.  There is still plenty of time to join us over at the SIWAS blog.

January's Mid-month reveal at Scrap It With A Song

The pop song this month is a very personal favorite with me.  In June of 2014 my husband and I were in a motorcycle wreck in California.  While I was only bruised a little, my husband had to be airlifted to a trauma hospital in Reno Nevada.  The hospital had the most amazing doctors, nurses and respiratory people.  And also all the other people there that I did not get to know personally.  My husband was on life support for 5 1/2 weeks while his body was healing.  God was an awesome God and showed me many many times over that long and at the time what felt like a never ending ordeal, just how much he loved us and all the ways he stepped in and saved us.  So you see now why this song is such a personal song for me.  It is a more recent song than the wreck but the first time I heard it, it was meant just for me.  Chris Tomlin - Good Good Father  It was my pick for this month at Scrap It With A Song.  There is plenty of time to go over to the blog and play along with us.  Here is my layout showing a pic up my husband and daughter while at Renown Hospital in Reno Nevada.
I used CTMH paper kits, ink and stamps.

December Reveal for Sketches In Thyme

My granddaughter is the selfie queen and this is one of those photos. She is an amazing and talented young lady and is so loved by this granny.  The sketch this month for the 4th week in December is by the talented Sara.  It is a fun and whimsical sketch and it fit perfectly for this selfie of my girl.  I hope this sketch makes you want to join us over at Sketches In Thyme.   Now for my take on the sketch.
